This mica tape is built up with mica as base material and electrical-use alkali-free glass-cloth, polyester or polyemide film as reinforcing material, bonded by binder and formed a tape-like insulation material. It is perfectly flexible under the normal temperature and after reeling on the coil of electrical machinery, may be solidified and has a thin insulation thickness and excellent electrical and mechanical strength.

Mica splitting is a mica product made primarily by separating and splitting second-best thick plate mica. It has certain thickness and can be made into any shape. It is suitably used to make thin muscovite plate for sticking mica insulating products.

Specifications

Mica splitting is classified into the following types based on the maximum opening area of inscribed rectangle. The side-line length ratio of the rectangle is 1:1--1:3.

KTYU Flexible series of Flexible Mica Plate is a good heat resistant insulating material, retains permanent flexibility at room temperature . The product consists of approximately 90 % Muscovite (or Phlogopite) and 10% high temperature resistant silicone resin.

1. Size: Sheets of 1000 x 600 mm 1000 x 1200 mm 1000 x 2400mm
These materials are quite flexible and can be cut to desired sizes.
2. Thickness:
0, 1mm , 0.15mm , 0.2mm , 0.25mm , 0.3mm , …… 3.0mm .

KTYU mica sheet mica laminates designed for providing outstanding electrical insulation at high temperature, which consist of approximately 90 % Muscovite (or Phlogopite) and 10% high temperature resistant silicone resin.
Heat resistand: the maximum working temperature for the Muscovite Mica Plate and Phlogopite Mica Plate are approximately 500 ℃ and 750 ℃ respectively, Peak work temperature are 750 ℃ and 1000 ℃ respectively.
